Introduction

 

SmartCollect is a  system designed for the Electronic Recovery of funds from any financial institution, employer or other sources. Multiple debtor books are also supported by the SmartCollect package.

This system provides the user with the facility to interactively register client and payment recovery information, batch importing of any volume of clients and recovery information is also supported from any debtor system.

Similarly SmartCollect provides the facility to electronically export client recovery and unpaid information to any debtor system.

 

With the SmartCollect system fullyl integrated Electronic Bank Transfer (EBT) as well as Electronic Credit Checking (ECC) functionality is provided. The EBT functionality will electronically submit recovery information to the specified financial institution(s), initiate the specified recovery, and obtain the result (i.e. successful or unsuc-cessful) of the recovery process. This information will be electronically processed by the SmartCollect package. Detailed EBT reports provide you with information on Recoveries/Settlements and reconciliation reports.

 

The principle used to execute recoveries when utilising SmartCollect is the creation of a batch recovery file. A batch recovery file contains all the information required to recover funds electronically (such as client name, bank account details, etc.).
